Ellis Island - Attempt 2

OK - this time I was there at about 0900 and the queue for the ferry was already 90 minutes longs...

I had managed to book tickets but you had to queue in one line to get those and then join the 90 minutes queue to get to a ferry - unfortunately by the time I got the tickets the queue had grown to two and a half hours... bummer... if you're travelling ion a group you can at least have placeholders in the queues to minimise the overall time taken - unofrtunately it's one of the drawbacks as a lone traveller... and once you are in the queue you can't leave it to get refreshments...

The new plan is to try and get to the departure point by 8 tomorrow morning - at least this time i can just join the ferry line and wait...

Time to head back uptown again after a well deserved coffee and email check.

This afternoon is for a better look at the NY Genealogical Library and then on to soem of the museums/galleries on the East-side of Central Park.
